Morning Sunrise in Red

Posted by Monte Stevens (Fort Collins, United States) on 12 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Driving east on Horsetooth Road the road turns to dirt and starts to drop down along the Pouder River. At the end of this road is one of our natural areas, the Arapaho Natural Area. I enjoy this area early in the morning because of the colorful sunrises and the morning song birds. I’ll setup my camera and wait for the rising sun while listening to the Meadow Larks sing their songs. I have several images of this tree taken at different times of the day and during different seasons.
