Field of Yellow

Posted by Monte Stevens (Westerville, United States) on 29 March 2008 in Plant & Nature.

This past week Silly Mountain was covered with yellow Brittlebush flowers. I spent two mornings walking around the base of the mountain searching for some vantage point to show how much yellow there really was. I chose this image which lets you see the flower itself in the foreground while in the background you can see how many there are leading up to a saguaro cactus.
