The Busy Fox

One afternoon I was fortunate to get a few images of a fox as he scrounged for food among the rocks at the pond just outside my front door. The geese and ducks were making quite a commotion while the fox was oblivious to them. He did take notice of me but continued along with his business of searching for mice.

@Anita: Thanks, Anita. I'm lucky in that I see deer, foxes, raccoons and my condo is right in the the middle of town. Spring Creek runs down through this area so they follow the wetlands.

Outstanding shot, Monte. Sharp detail and terrific color throughout the shot. I once ran across a fox while on a morning walk at the Missouri Botanical Garden (right in the middle of town) ... there it was just lying in the morning sun.
