It was raining when we arrived in Louisville, Kentucky and it is still raining this morning. During a short lull in the rain I ventured out around the hotel and found this interesting photograph. As Colorado is an arid region I’m not used to seeing so much moss. or green This photograph really shows the amount of humidity this area has with the plant growing through the moss covered fence.

You should come to Brussels for a few days! Surprisingly, it has not rained here in a few weeks and has been in the 70's and 80's... that is pretty atypical for May in Belgium.
The green moss adds a nice tone to this image

@Jason Kravitz: Now that is tempting. I have never been to anyplace in Europe. Plants and climate are so different. Ya got me thinking.

Just lovely! The colors of the plant mimic the colors of the fence. Simple and effective.
