Waiting for the Bus

Posted by Monte Stevens (Westerville, United States) on 27 September 2008 in People & Portrait.

We had an overnight in New Orleans on this trip. We came in early enough to catch a bus down to the French Quarter and take in the sights. On our way back I took this photo of a man waiting on the bus. For most of my life I have always had a car allowing me to go pretty much where and whenever I wanted. The last year and a half I have used mass transit systems on a regular basis and feel they are a great alternative to our fuel crisis, if only we were to use them. We can encounter some very interesting people and maybe make a good friend.
